True. You won´t get much bass out of the Lead ch. of the 2061x. No even with a 4x12 cab.
The Bass ch. has more bass available, without sounding muddy, maintaining a clear and pristine high end.
Here is what I do:
1-first of all, DO NOT JUMPER THE CHANNELS.
2-plug your guitar to the top input of the Bass ch. on your 2061x.
3-turn the Tone knob on the Bass ch.to 10.
4-Now, set the Tone knob on the lead ch. on 0.
5-Turn the Volume knob on the Lead ch. to almost 8.
6-finally, turn up the Volume on the Bass ch past 2.
You will like the results... a completely different sound!
The Lead ch. interacts in a very strange but fantastic way when you are plugged into the Bass ch. without even jumpering them. The sound obtained is extremely clean with a much deeper and tighter bass. the highs are crystal clean..no honky sound.
