Hallo liebes Forum,
ich nenne seit einiger Zeit einen Marshall 6100LM mein Eigen. Nun bin ich mir aber relativ sicher, das ich eine 5881 Version habe. Auf dem Amp sind mehrere Aufkleber mit "Use only with 5881" angebracht und die Endstufen Beschaltung sieht auch nach 5881 aus.
Ich habe auch mal die Bauteile aus dieser Anleitung EL34 zu 5881 verglichen http://home.myfairpoint.net/vze1u14s/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/5881el34conversion.pdf

Nun zu meinem Problem: Anscheind hat der Vorbesitzer einfach EL34 eingebaut. Jetzt habe ich neue 6L6GC eingesetzt und bekomme das Bias nicht eingestellt. Der Strom ist viel zu hoch. Mit dem Poti auf Anschlag fließen 54mA bei 455V Annodenspannung. Dreh ich das Poti runter, steigt der Strom weiter.

Habt ihr eine Idee wo ich ansetzen kann?

Ich hab nochmal den BIAS-Pfad überprüft. Sieht erstmal alles ok aus.
Im Standby liegen zwischen R234/R235 -50,8V an wenn ich den Bias Poti voll aufdreh.

Meine Idee wäre den R212 zu erhöhen.

there is a zener diode which limits to 51V,try eliminating that first and report voltage.

Ok, ich hab die Zener Diode mal rausgehauen. Jetzt komm ich bei -UG bis auf -60V. Am Anfang fing der Ruhestrom bei 45mA an. Ich hab den Amp etwas laufen gelassen, ohne ihn zu spielen und jetzt steigt der Ruhestrom auf 57mA.

Also nicht wirklich die Lösung. Würde dann den R212 größer machen vllt 47k?

you have a problem,either the tubes or some other component in circuit.maybe sockets dirty.
Check if  the pin 5 voltage is stable on all 4 sockets.
How do you measure current?

So I use the Bias-Master to measure current.  The voltage at Pin 5 gets lower over time. As the current rises the Pin 5 Voltage gets lower. I startet at -50,8 V at each socket with 45mA and after 15 minutes the voltage is -49,3V and 50mA.

As I mentioned, the previously user replaced the 5881 with EL34 without changing anything. I guess thats not that great.

there is something defective,it can be the capacitors in the bias circuit,or in the PI output,or simply a conductivity in the sockets,try wash them with isoprop alcohol

Du kannst auch einen Satz Röhren mit hoher Emission nehmen, Dirk kann Dir so einen raussuchen!
