finger joints? pain in the ...
how did you do this finger joints...kind of a template or the wolfcraft tool? or good old hand crafting?

I used the Wolfcraft tool. Practiced a bit on junk pine (kiefer), but nevertheless the second was better than the first, the third better than the second ... had to do a bit of sanding with a belt sander and 40grit paper, as well as a bit of filling. Plus I used buche leimholz from the baumarkt, and it warps across the width. 18mm thickness is too much for the schablone, although they claim it works with 22mm, but once you know this you can account for it. Using the dovetail (schwalbenschwanz) this shouldn't be a problem and I will try this on the next cab I build. You can see pictures here ->

Next cab I will go to a real sawmill and buy real wood. But I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out despite the steep learning curve.
With a router and the schablone, it's really pretty easy to do, but it doesn't look quite "professional." But pretty good, I think.
By the way the speaker cab is the dimension of a tweed deluxe, rounded up to the next centimeter. Cab plans are here ->
