Hallo zusammen   !

Nachdem der Bau des Rectifiers nun doch schon etwas zurückliegt, gibts auch von mir mal was Neues  .

Ein Combo der etwas bodenständigeren Art sollte es diesmal werden ... was lag näher, als sich einmal an einer der stylishen orangen Kisten aus good old Britain zu versuchen?

Hier seht ihr, was aus meinem Projekt "Orange Tiny Terror Handwired" geworden ist. Pate stand hier der im Internet kursierende Schaltplan aus einem englischen Forum. Das Layout ist Eigenkreation. Was jetzt noch fehlt, ist die Kiste drumherum Grin ...und ich erinnere mich, hier noch einen alten Celestion G12-65 rumfliegen zu haben  .













Vorerst darf sich der "kleine" Krawallbruder also an meiner 4x12er austoben...mal sehen was an der Floskel "Laut und geil" so dran ist  !

Wow! Ich bin begeistert!!!

Das einzige was mir auffällt ist die Schraube zwischen den ösen für die 100nF Mallorys, die ist arg eng dran.
Das könnte je nach Potential an der Stelle zu Überschlagen führen. Hängt aber von der Beschaltung ab.

Klasse, Glückwunsch zu dem schönen Amp.
Ist das Chassis ein Eigenbau? Sieht super gut aus.

Eine so geleckt saubere und offensichtlich von Anfang an sehr gut durchdachte Arbeit hat auch meine Anerkennung verdient!

Sehr lobenswert auch der sauber ausgeführte Galactic-Star-Ground! Das macht selbst Cornell nicht besser

I live in Belgium, but i can't quite understand deutsch.. I am very interested in this amp, since i'm planning to build one within a few weeks.
Would it be possible to post your layout or something, as a help? It would realy help me with this build, because it is my first try at amp making.

Also, which OT and PT did you use? Can you use the half power option?

No, sorry. I just don´t see the point of 7/15 W switching! Not a wide difference of volume.

Warning dangerous! You have the risk of electric shock cause high voltage inside the Amp might kill you - it´s true.    Electrolytic (and other type) filter capacitors can hold lethal charges for the duration of hours/days! Be sure to discharge them before working on an amplifier.

I think your level of knowlegde about electronics is very low, so I would advice to wait for better understanding (on your part) may be in one year or so! Read books, visite websites to learn more about this stuff...

Thank you for your response. I had already seen the other topics and found the TRA200 and hammond 125. However i wanted to be sure by finding someone who built it working with these parts.
I am aware that those high voltages can be lethal. It's not my first electronics project, i've built a lot of pedals and analog multi effect pedals with digital switching and so. But it is my first tube amp build yes. I made a layout myself, based on the schematic found in another thread here. It's that i just wanted to be sure i start off right, and not with some faulty schematic.

You might wanna check out the TT66 kit in the DIY section (head of this page). Many people in this forum already built it, and are very excited about it. If you start an english TT66 thread you'll surely get lots of help. Or you can check out the TT-SAM, which comes with an english manual.

I'm saying this because I first underestimated the big difference between low voltage silicon electronics and tube electronics. The TT66 and the TT-SAM might look simple and cheap, but you'll have lots of trouble and lots of fun with them. They're great "tube beginner's" projects. Says a tube beginner.

Sorry that I dig up this old topic, but my Tiny terror is finally finished.
I could just play it for a few minutes, because other people wanted to sleep. I am realy satisfied with it. It has a nice sparkly clean, and the orange distortion.
It is also fairly loud. I used the TRA200 and hammond 125E. I have almost no hum. I can post pictures or sound clips tomorrow if anyone wants that. Or if there are questions, i'll be here.
