Hi!

Really nice job!! Looks amazing  :topjob:

Waiting for the final test: walls shaking test in the house  ;D

Is the voltage of the PI V5-pin 6 a typing mistake? Should probably be 257.9 instead of 357.9V, right?

Cheers,
Laurent

It might be a mistake. I will check again tomorrow. Good catch!

Biased up the power tubes and everything seems good, though. Haven't had a chance to crank the amp yet, though. Will do that tomorrow as well. :D

Is there any chance you are building medical equipment for a living? looks better than the real thing.

All the best,
Robin

Plates came down to 490 volts with power tubes in ;)

And no, I don't do any sort of electrical work for a living. I'm a copywriter in advertising. But thanks for the kind words.

Who need a complete set of SLO PCBs? Look under VERKAUFEN.

Brauch noch einer einen vollständigen platinensatz für einen SLO? Bilder unter Verkaufen.

Hi,

that´s an easy one - 2nd from the top. Just because it looks best.
Ok, the choke is the most obvious :-X ;D
Stunning build, again.

Take care,
Robin

Respekt, Respekt.

Sehr viel Liebe zum Detail, das vermisse ich immer wieder bei den Eigenbauten.

Weiter so !!!!
If you don't know how to fix it, stop breaking it!

Here are some clips. I'm still tweaking this thing here and there, trying to find the best combination of speakers and tubes. These clips aren't to showcase my playing, just the tone of the amp. Recorded with my laptop's webcam, so not the best quality obviously. But that's all I have.

Les Paul Silverburst with BKP Holy Divers
Bogner 4x12 with G12-65s

V1: Mullard of some type
V2: Tung-Sol Reissue
V3: JJ ECC83S
V4: JJ ECC83S
V5: Ei Yugo

CLEAN WITH REVERB (I literally just learned this song 2 minutes before recording this, so lots of mistakes):

Hi,

sounds absolutely great, like an SLO should
I like the LesPaul silverburst, looks like an old one from ´79 or is it one of the RI Customs?

All the best,
Robin

That one is an '84. I have a '79 too. Different necks on each. One is mahogany, the other maple.

I keep coming back to this thread whenever I want to see how clean a build can be. Pure art, great motivation! Probably will never build one (scared of high voltages, stompboxes are fine), but if you want to sell yours, let me know!!!
