Hallo Leute,

kann man sagen, dass es sich bei einem Eminence ohne übliches Label um einen Legend 1058 handelt, wenn seitlich "EM10-758" und daneben kleingedruckt: "10449 8 Ohm  67 - 92410116 G3" steht?

If you don't see your speaker listed on our website, then it is one that we "custom-made". Until January 2000 when we debuted our own "Genuine Eminence" distribution line, Eminence Speaker only made custom designed speakers for companies who loaded them in cabinets or sold them as "raw" drivers. We don't assign model numbers to custom speakers. All of our OEM speakers are identified by their spec number. We attach a small label to either the side of the magnet or the inside one of the basket arms with our spec number and manufacturing/date code on it. The spec number will begin with the size of the speaker (i.e. for a 10" it would be 101123). The manufacturing/date code number is as follows:

EIA# for ESC   Year   Week    Serial #   Metal Group
67   -01   12A   0217   G1


The "67" tells you that the speaker was built by Eminence, the "01" indicates that the speaker was built in 2001, and the "12" means it was built the 12th week of the year.

das ME10-758 würd ich mal Raten: 10(Zoll) -75(W) 8(Ohm) (ich hab vergleichsweise einen"ME10-1008" hier warens halt 100W im Datenblatt)

Eminence hat die EM-Serie nur in Europa verkauft, das ist auch schon eine Weile her (10-15 Jahre oder so). Hab auch noch einige davon im Regal oder älteren Speakern drin. Leider sind die Modelle immer wieder verändert worden (und das teilweise heftigst): Sollte man also noch Angaben finden (ich habe unmengen an Katalogen noch hier), so stimmen die Daten evtl. also nicht. Ausschallgebend sind nämlich die kleinen Zahlen und Angaben auf den grauen Aufklebern am Magneten. Schreib Eminence in USA direkt an, welche Paremeter das Chassis exakt hat. EM10-100 als Angabe reicht nicht.Bild

So, ich habe bei Mr. Lucas angefragt und das hier ist das Ergebnis:

Hi Peer,

10449 was a custom designed OEM speaker that we manufactured to one of our customer's specifications.  It is an 8 ohm speaker with a 1.5" voice coil and a 30 oz ceramic magnet.  We do not rate OEM designs (that is left up to the customer to test and rate their cabinet or amp), but a conservative thermal power rating based on the voice coil diameter would be about 75 watts.  Here are the T/S parameters:
