Wie gut funktioniert denn der Bender? Ich hätte eher erwartet, dass du einen Saitenreiter mit Rolle einbaust und evtl auf den Stringtree verzichtest... Ich hab auf meiner Strat seit kurzem einen Dynaguide. Hadn't seen that; that's an interesting and simple little device.

The Graph-Tech stuff works fine; I've been using a HipShot combined B/G bender on another Tele for a couple of years and have had zero problems. I had this one built because I wanted a proper strap-actuated bender.

A couple of points -

I love the S1 switching. We wired it like the James Burton Tele, with standard Strat switching on one S1 position, and 4-way Tele + n/m series on the other S1 position.

The S1 switch itself, though, does not exactly inspire mechanical confidence. I expect it will eventually fail, and then I will replace it with a 4pdt rotary and a concentric vol/tone. Not ideal, but reliable.

Bending is a trip. In the video, it's all country-style, but it works in a blues context too.

Yup, auf mein Fender hab ich laengst ein 4-way eingebaut; es hat lang gedauert, aber ich benutze die Serial-Stelle oft, es ist sehr nutzlich. Besonders wenn ich ein bischen brachialisch vorgehen moechten; zB wenn ich ein David Lindley lap steel Klang brauche.
