« am: 17.12.2008 09:01 »
Hi!
Sorry but i don´t speak german. I wish that anybody can help me.

I mounted this aby-box  http://www.tube-town.net/diy/tt-aby/tt-aby.html
But i don't sure how solder the Xicon TM018 Audi-Transformator.

The picture is my setup, this is correct or wrong?

I have mount in this way, and i have a lot of noise in the B channel and when i connect a&b at the same time.

Can somebody help me? Thank you very much

hi abbitxuelo,

the wiring looks correct to me. Did you use an isolated Jack for Ouput B?

hi abbitxuelo,

please have a look at the attachment, the file shows the complete addition of the transformer to dirk's aby-switch.

the b-output has to be isolated!

Hello,

If Pin3 is used in the schematic, you should also use Pin3! It is always possible that errors find their way into a schematic, but you can easily figure that out yourself.

Pin 3 is right, it must be grounded, pin 2 should not be used ... pin 2 is the  middle tap of the primary coil and should only be used, if the source is balanced ... whe do not use balancing in this case!

So please use Pin 3, if you use Pin 2, the impedances do not match!
