Most of the power section is done. Once the preamp is wired up I can finalize the remaining connections on the power board. It's not as tidy as I really want. But there are a lot of wire runs in the SLO. Good thing they're all covered by the power PCB And I spliced in the lead from the OT to the HT Fuse.

Elevated heater mod wired up. This part was like playing that Operation board game.

Damn, power tube sockets took a long time. But they're finally done. Just need to add some heat shrink to the grid stoppers. Next steps will be the loop jacks, impedance selector, and then I can move on to the preamp board wiring and I'll be done.

Output jacks, impedance selector, and FX loop return wired up. I'm not going to do the slave out. I never use it. And I can always add it later if I want to run wet/dry or something.

Had to figure out a way to hold the preamp board up off the table, while at the same time keeping the lead I was soldering from falling out since they're installed from the top of the board. That's where these Helping Hands come in handy. Was pretty easy.

The slave out is useful if you want to record thru Torpedo's software. Then you can skip the power amp simulation. Just hook the amp to a load, Mike.

Got the AC lines, Depth control, loop, and channel switch all wired up. Board is now locked in.

Was out doing real-world stuff for the majority of the day. So did a couple of the small things left to do here and there: Power Board to Preamp Board jumpers for Bias, B+, and Ground; signal coax to V3/7 (not shown); and remote bias control.

Yay, all done!

Just gotta do some testing to make sure all the voltages are good. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Powered up. No smoke, no sparks. Everything seems good. I think all the voltages check out for the most part. Some are a bit higher, some lower. Plate voltage is crazy high... 520 volts. Damn. Highest I've seen in any amp.

Is the voltage of the PI V5-pin 6 a typing mistake? Should probably be 257.9 instead of 357.9V, right?
